Calling all student designers: Work with the Cox Collaboratory at ASU to create original artwork for their laboratory!

Students designing art installationThe Cox Collaboratory at ASU is seeking a student (or student team) to design an original artwork that will be displayed in the Cox Collaboratory’s cutting-edge laboratory and collaborative space in ASU’s Skysong.

This is your opportunity to collaborate with fellow ASU design students while getting experience working with a corporate partner on a custom design that will be printed and displayed on ASU’s campus.

Selected students will be invited to design a mural-styled vinyl wrap that will be printed and fixed to the Collaboratory’s interior wall. Please email your interest and portfolio of your work to Angela Saurini at angela.saurini@cox.com for consideration by Friday, February 4, 2022.

About the design

The goal is to showcase the use of smart technology – think cutting-edge networks, sensors, data, and beyond – that is being used to improve the ways in which we learn, work and live at ASU and beyond. The design should showcase the work Cox and ASU has completed together.

Digital artwork will be delivered as an AI or EPS. Artwork will be printed to fit the 10' x 10' space.

In addition to having your original artwork displayed with your name included on a plaque alongside the design, you’ll receive prizes and publicity sharing your work!

About the space

The Cox Connected Environments Collaboratory at ASU partners with university and other local stakeholders to accelerate new ideas to deliver human-centered, smart solutions for our communities.

Located in ASU’s Skysong campus, the Cox Collaboratory operates a cutting-edge laboratory and collaborative space. The artwork will be printed and fixed directly in the entrance of the space.
